With the new buff to Ether Renewal, anyone have some good builds they are willing to share?

But it's back (in PvE anyway).

The two reverts that worry me the most are Shadow Form and Ether Renewal. Shadow Form is just plan overpowered again, and Ether Renewal opens the door for a whole boatload of enchantment and secondary proff. shenanigans.
The former makes my eyes roll. The latter both intrigues and scares me at the same time.

But I'm too busy and/or lazy to come up with said shenanigans, so I eagerly await what the GW community can devise in the coming months to abuse this skill.

Im thinking of running a team of 3 ele heroes:

1) [Ether Renewal][Fire Attunement][Rodgorts Invocation][Heal Party][Healing Breeze][Heal Other][Balthazars Spirit][Resurrection Chant]
2)[Ether Renewal][Fire Attunement][Rodgorts Invocation][Heal Party][Vigorous Spirit][Heal Other][Holy Veil][Resurrection Chant]
3) [Ether Renewal][Fire Attunement][Rodgorts Invocation][Aegis][Protective Spirit][Guardian][Purifying Veil][Resurrection Chant]

Probably atts something along the lines of

10+1+3 Energy Storage
10 Healing/Protection Prayers
11+1 Fire Magic

Been having a bit of fun with:

[Blood Bond][Order of Pain][Dark Fury][Foul Feast][Plague Sending][Awaken the Blood][Aura of Restoration][Ether Renewal]

Too bad the hero blows him self up all too often.

Just a quick thrown-together bar...
[build prof=E/Mo name="Ether Renewal Gogo" box air=10+1+1 ener=12+1 heal=8 desc="Weapon 1: 20/20/20, +20% enchant Air staff"][lightning hammer][lightning orb][blinding flash][heal party][glyph of swiftness][ether renewal][aura of restoration][air attunement][/build]
GoS + enchant staff allows ER to be up indefinately.

Then spam away... you quite literally have infinite energy. It's like dual attunes except not even HP spam will touch your energy. And with GoS, your key enchants aren't down for as long in case of strips.

I like Renewal a lot... It's gonna be fun to play with.

The new Ether Renewal is actually a nice idea.
It does not break PvE by being totally imbalanced and instead offers some new ways to play for Elementalists.

Wow, I just said ANet/Izzy did something right. Was probably random, keke.

Mind Blast + Glowing Gaze and the builds popular linked to them (Searing Flames + GG and Mind Blast + Rodgorts) are less vulnerable to enchantment removal and are easier to use than Ether Renewal, which needs 2-3 enchantments up and running to shine.

I wonder that people did not post some Stone Daggers or other Earth builds making use of spam skills to gain energy yet.

The new PvE version of Ether Renewal will work for two things:

1.) More utility oriented Elementalists:
e.g. the posted 5 energy healing skills/enchantment builds
2.) Farming
Beat me, but I cannot think of any Ether Renewal builds yet, because I would rather use Terra Tank or Shadowform

All damage oriented PvE elementalists will rather use other elites, Fire elementalists focusing on area damage already have enough skills to keep their energy up to nuke for extended periods of time.

Because every build is entirely about damage isn't it?

Of course, silly rellik. Any build that doesn't focus on damage = suxor

Thanks for reminding me.

Either way, if you're not going to run high energy skills like 15+, what's the point in going Elemenetalist when you can go X/E for GoLE and runes?

Spamming party heals and blind on recharge is sexy.

This is like an enchantment form of Soul Reaping without minions needed. (Speaking of which, GOGO ELEWAY?!?!!)

Because a D/N order can spec into wind prayers and get a party heal for free with a 2 seconds recharge?

You want 300 healing per second?

[Ether Renewal][Aura of Restoration][Vigorous spirit][Healing Breeze][Infuse Health]

You're healed for ~150 eath time you infuse, fueling the next infuse.
